Happy MOTHER'S DAY, Mom

~
MAY 10th is Mother's Day! I made this card for my mom.
I love to collage and this card was for a very special occasion.

Mom is holding me in this winter photo...I was about 6 months old.
(Front of Card)

Isn't my mom beautiful!
Both on the inside and the outside!
This photo was her high school graduation picture.

The photo of me is from grade school, I was around 7 years of age.
Mom used to spend a long time putting my hair
in rag curls so it would look this good!

This card is for a very special lady. Giving and caring and full of love.
Hugs and Kisses, Mom. I love you.

I love your card. I wish that I had a mom to give such a wonderful card to. :-) I'm always more touched with a handmade or artistic gift than I am with any store bought item. You know, when someone creates something for you or searches out something that is created from another's two hands, there is a bit of magic that is carried along with it. :-)

Heather,
Your are such a sweet thoughtful person...thanks for your kind words about my card for my mother.
I agree with you, there is nothing like a creation that you put your talent and/or sentiments into...so much more meaning.
Hugs, Bet
